Perhaps most signally, Professor Golembiewski is the only recipient ever
of the three top awards in business schools and in public administration,
respectively. In 1992, he received the Irwin Award for Scholarly
Contributions to Management at the annual meeting of the Academy of
Management; in 1993 he accepted the Dwight Waldo Award at the annual
meeting of the American Society for Public Administration; and in 1996 the
National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration
awarded him its Distinguished Research Award. Most recently, on November
14, 1997, Professor Golembiewski was inducted as a Fellow in the National
Academy of Public Administration in Washington, DC. |
