William L. Waugh, Jr., is Professor of
Public Administration, Urban Studies, and Political Science at Georgia
State University. His research focuses on policy design and analysis,
administrative theory, emergency management, and local government capacity
building. His publications include books on terrorism, disaster management
in the U.S. and Canada, and state and local tax policy, as well as
articles, chapters, and reports published in the U.S., Canada, and Europe.
He has been a consultant to federal, state, and local governments;
nonprofit organizations, and the news media on issues related to political
violence, disaster management, and professional development. |
